There were plenty of deer around, which was nice. Quiet hours are posted as being 10pm-8am, but they woke us up around 6am (thanks for following your own rules!). Note that they must not rent this suite out much as the housekeeping & grounds crew was VERY loud in getting their supplies in the bottom portion of this unit. It was actually cheaper to rent this suite than to rent 2 cabin rooms, but there is only one of these suites. We did have a lot of room, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 living rooms (one with 3 horrible pull-out chairs that we did not use - my son choose to sleep on the couch instead), a kitchen, and dining room. There is coffee to purchase at the front desk starting at 7:30am. For some reason there was a hair dryer, but that was it! Not coffee maker, yet a full kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and oven/stove, but NOTHING to use with them (except minimal dishes & pans with the “kit” you had to know to ask for before the front desk closes at 9pm). It is a very tired property with no air conditioning, no TV, no internet, no phones (not even to call the front desk), no provisions in kitchen AT ALL unless you ask for a “kit” for a specific number of people. Location driving access to Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, First and Rialto Beaches, and about 1 1/2 hour drive to Hurricane Ridge was good without traffic. We were here during the week in early October and the resort was not full.

Location also offers gasoline, the town of Forks has at least three big gas stations, a few places to eat, and a big grocery store w camping gear etc.Īn adequate and clean little housekeeping cabin. In terms of things to do, we drove late evening to Rialto Beach (10 min drive or an 1hr4 0 walk), late enough to find parking for a RV (in early sept), in am drove early to parking for Third Beach trail head (appr 30min + walk from Parking to beach) and continued with an extended hike past Taylor Point on to the next beach (up ropes etc). Not all RV/camp locations offer this and it’s a great benefit if you want to keep some grey water out of your RV tank, or just need a bigger sink in which to clean). Plus, there is a very clean room with Washer/Dryer and dishwashing station.

The toilettes were super clean, there is a shower (pay $2 in coins for 4 minutes) that looked clean. Lovely to have to have the small store and a café which offers burgers and fried foods, ice cream/shakes. It is surrounded by a few other RV sites, camp sites, small homes. Central location at front (near small store/restaurant/EC/Shower and trash bins) is convenient, though it means other campers tend to walk through site 7 (with all the other conveniences is a small negative). There is a good amount of space around each site (RVs are not slotted within feet of each other as is done in many other sites). Wood camping table / bench and fire pit, free wifi, 30 amps, water, no waste water). We were at a RV site (7, an easy pull through under tall trees. Resort offers a mix of stays (cabin/camp RV) with a convenience store and place to eat.
